Diaper Bag Opinions
So I am looking for an opinion. In my Birth Group someone started a thread about diaper bags and as everyone is posting their bags I totally fell in love with the Petunia Pickle Bottom Boxy Backpack style bag. They are freaking adorable! BUT. at a retail price of $170 I just can really seem to be able to justify getting it. I have looked on ebay to try and grab a deal on a used one or one that is from a past season or something.
Being a first time mom, I want to get something that will be practical and be nice since we are planning on having more children, but I really don't want to be ridiculous about spending money. I saw a lot of women posting their 4 different bags and their "daddy diaper bags" and some had coach bags and other designers. I loved it. It was stylish and still functional. If I don't splurge on the Pickle Bottom, I will probably do the giant purse thing again.

I too fell in love with their bags, but am not willing to pay that much. My thinking was, this is supposed to be about the baby's needs, not my wants/needs (although I agree with PP sometimes it is appropriate to spoil yourself). I say, if you can save on other baby items (check Craigslist) then SPLURGE on the diaper bag.
