Post subject: Uniforms Fried Chicken Man
Uniforms Fried Chicken Man
by Lil Fresh on Apr.20, 2011, under Uncategorized
Do you hate uniforms I do to we have one thing in common. I'm not for the idea uniforms, because kids should want to be able to wear proper clothes whenever they want to. They should be able to wake up in the morning and be happy to choose what to wear in the. Kid's clothes show their insides. The uniforms are plain boring colors. You can't do anything express your feelings with the uniforms. But without the uniform you have a splash of colors. And plus one uniform cost like $9.00 when you can go to JCPenny and get 2 for the same price. People say when you grow up and be a successful person you have to wear a uniform yeah well that is probably their boss made them. If their boss let them they would probably wear not uniforms but formal clothes you don't have to wear a uniform to be successful. If there are 180 days in a school year, and 8 class periods in a day, and each teacher takes 3 minutes per period to a uniform check, then by the end of the year we have wasted a grand total of 4,320 minutes on absolutely nothing. (Face it, right after the uniform check; everyone just puts their sweater back on anyway. Uniforms bring all different races/colors/religions together? Okay, whatever. Clothing does not separate us. Racism and society's attitude separates us. In fact, race has absolutely nothing to do with clothing styles. Flame me if you want, but I think that races/religions/colors, etc. would become closer if we were allowed free dress. I mean, when we wear a uniform, it is true that we see that everyone is dressing alike, but we know that it is under force, so it holds no water with us. But if we were allowed free dress, then we might open up a few eyes by showing kids that allowed to wear their own clothes, nike free tilbud, they actually dress a lot like people they never knew they had anything in common with. Let face it all look like dorks. Don you think that a good learning environment is one in which we feel good about ourselves and the way we are dressed. Most kids hate it. I sorry, I mean, I know that there are a lot of things that kids hate that are actually good for them, like homework, tests, etc, but a uniform is just not one of them. School uniforms are Tacky, not stylish, and boring! Shouldn't they be, like, burned in an incinerator or something? I sure think so. Now, who's a fashion monster out there? Who likes to dress up in the latest styles? Who likes to be unique? Well, I can tell you, having to where the same shirt and as everyone else everyday of the year is not very unique, is it? Now, the only reasons for uniforms are this: so people do not dress in inappropriate clothes. And all I have to say for this is: less than a quarter of students in, say, a high school, actually dress in wrong clothing. But the rest of us have to get punished too? That really doesn't seem fair at all. Getting to wear the latest in styles is the only good reason for school itself. Without that, there's no point of school at all. School uniforms may hinder self expression through clothing, forcing children to find other ways to put across who they are. Children who wear school uniforms are more likely to use makeup early, and many resort to extreme accessories or to alter their uniforms to differentiate themselves from others. For example, many girls shorten their skirts as a way to rebel against the severity of school uniforms. On the other hand, a uniform is a uniform. A dull, stale, boring, crusty old uniform how would YOU dress if YOU had a choice?
